Armistead Place is hidden down a tree lined lane close to the village of Giggleswick, famous for its 17th Century school and chapel.

Giggleswick is in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales with many local attractions on its doorstep. The well known Settle – Carlisle railway runs from the nearby town of Settle, the three peaks; Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent, are all within a short distance of Giggleswick, as are White Scar caves and the scenic waterfalls walk in nearby Ingleton. The old market town of Kirby Lonsdale much loved by the Victorian artist John Ruskin is only 20 minutes away.
